Our Poundshop(land) has just closed for a few days for a refit, can't recall them having one before, don't know what I did without it. Brilliant shop for stocking fillers, and just everything you didn't know you needed!! Got three books there recently for 50 each (special offers lol) and all were a good read. Bought some super bras there a while ago, and only now worn out, wish I have bought a dozen! They sel those baking sheets for using on baking tins in the oven and they last ages, save all that scrubbing of tins when the baked pototoes or whatever stick. |

Best was Bratz stuff for daughter, Johnsons cosmetics, branded drinks, biscuits, chocs, crisps, Christmas decorations, Halloween stuff. Worst was envelopes that didnt seal, a doll whose head fell off!! and baby wipes with a sickly artificial smell. |

I love £ shops :o)))) Good buys, mostly in 99p shop in Worthing. Sheets of stickers for cardmaking and crafts and lots of craft bits - my grandaughters pinch most of them! Picture frames Gel pens Boxes of chocolate biscuits - supposedly broken, but mostly whole. Multi bags of crisps CD jewel cases Lots of stocking filler type stuff for children & adults. Calendars - got 2 this year, still with £4.99 price tags on. Then saw identical ones in WH Smith for £4.99 each! Eyelash wool for knitting scarves. Can't think of any really bad buys. OH bought some Cadburys chocolate once as a treat for me. Although it said Cadburys on the packet, it certainly didn't taste like it. I think it was made in Eastern Europe. Won't buy that again!
