Revenge is a dish best eaten cold, I find! The woman who stole my man and ruined my life. I told her that in five years time she would be standing in MY shoes. I was right - someone stole him off her! But for hot-headed, really petty and childish revenge - same woman - I went round all the phone boxes I could find (a few years ago, lots of public phone boxes) and wrote her name in the booth 'If you want a good time, phone XXXXXX and ask for Slappy Sue'. (Not her real name and I was a lot coarser in the message) A friend, years ago, discovered her hubby and a neighbour had gone to Spain for a dirty week. On their return they were greeted by a bedsheet hanging from her window saying 'Welcome home Bob and Sue, you thought no-one knew, now they all do' OC |
