Got married on the 2nd September last year in Barbados, then honeymooned there too. It was fab. Everything was perfect, apart from me walking up the path to the gardens, seeing OH then my bottom lip went, there were people at the hotel watching me, so embarrased after I saw the video. Fantastic memories, all the family were there for the whole 3 weeks. Lovely people, the barbadians. catherine xx

Kitzbuhel, Austria. OH was much better skier than me so we spent the fortnight on different mountain ranges and even apres-skied apart!!! I got very sun-burnt lips and OH says he must be the only man who didn't get to kiss his wife on their honeymoon!

Went to Wales, 3 days in a hotel near Porthmadoc and then went down to spend the rest of the week with friends in Laugharne, Dylan Thomas's village, we had the most fabulous time............ P.S we spent the money for the downstairs carpets to pay for the honeymoon, had no carpets for 6 months, and would do the same again.! Barbara..xx

We got married on a beach in Kenya during a 3 week holiday, just the 2 of us. The wedding was near the end due to residency requirements so we had the honeymoon first. At least that meant we both looked rested and tanned in the wedding photos. Had a really great time and would do it again any day. The local villagers were really wonderful and wove garlands and arches out of palm leaves and frangipani for us. Angela

We went to mainland Greece, stayed at Glyfada, the nearest seaside resort to Athens. Had a few days out in Athens doing the usual tourist things, Parthenon/Acropolis etc but also went on a one day cruise around some of the nearest islands (Hydra, Poros, Aegina) and always said we would go back to stay on one of them but still haven't made it (yet!) We also went to Jersey (1981). We had a fantastic time, paid for by my in-laws as our wedding present. The hotel staff took all week to pluck up the courage to ask us if we had just got married - they kept finding confetti!! On the last night we had a fab party with the staff and other guests. Luckily we've been back twice with our sons who also love the place and would go again. Anne in North London.

Niagara Falls, - just overnight, both had to work on Tuesday and it was so bl$$dy hot we went home to the air conditioner. lol. Had nice motel thou, it was advertised, cool rooms, magic finger beds, colour tv and view of the falls. Air didn't work, magic fingers didn't work, tv was black & white and could see lovely view of the falls if we stood on the toilet and looked out this teeny tiny window, it was way off about 5 miles. pmsl.
