Morning Wattlers, Merle - glad it woz you wot got the number cos I was gunna delete a few old messages if that dratted cat had snuck in - lol Another big storm in my neck of the woods last night - Huey the rain is enough can get by without the boom boom and flashing thank you Made contact with a lady who has written 3 books covering my 3xgrandmother on my mum's maternal side - postie can't come quick enough now - this is the family who confused me cos there were so many James that I gave my 3xgranny her brother for her father and by the time I'd found my mistake I could only correct it by deleting my tree on GR - bit of a grrrrrrrrrrr moment. Canberra show on this weekend - been living here for 14 years and still not been - car park is cheaper than getting in so I'm not worried. Son's girlfriend bought me some chocolate fudge and a tin of Crows caramel fudge - no weight loss here for a while - lol Tassie - hope you can get to the Qld meet - sorry we won't be there cos I still haven't met SuzyQ Off to work in a cupla hours so catch up later Have a great day (((((hugs))))) & ~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Gwenda

Children, children!!!!!! Congrats Merle - you did it! Was it you Vonny who was asking how much to renew subs? Mine are due 17 Mar - keeps telling me so - why should I pay a month in advance I ask you. I had a little peek to see how much it would cost me $A19.95 - I think that's the same as last year. Lucky Lara to have a washing machine in the van when her other one broke down. I was just thinking of all the broken down washing machines, dishwashers, dryers etc. we have all had this past year! (touch wood). Incidentally Laurie, what kind of dryer did you end up buying? Funny sort of day outside, no blue skies, sun, no clouds, just a pale bluey-grey mass. Rain is forecast, .. but then who knows. The radar screen shows no rain at all - sorry Lew. Humid though. Have a great day all Jood

Morning Wattlers Congrats on the number merle. Sorry I couldnt stick about and help. After the footy I went to bed. Not sure if the mainland get a show called The Food Trail by Paul Mercurio, well my brother rang last night to tell me he was surfing net and found that, he believes tonights show, which is on at 5.00pm on our Southern Cross, which is a mix of 7 and 10 is going to show a venison meal done from Springfield Deer Farm in Mole Creek, this farm is where my Pop was born and he continued on with the farm after his Dad died. I have mentioned before about spending most of my Christmas holidays with my Nan and Pop on their farm, well this is the place, so if you get this show where you are and you are watching if it is the same program, you will see the farm. Im going to tape it as I havent seen the farm since my Nan and Pop sold it around 1990/1. Gwenda yes it will be good if we can get to Brisvegus in June, hoping for some cheap flights to come up once the date has been finalised, I also havent met SuzyQ or for that matter most of the Qld mob, only met Anna. Morning all Good onya Merle - beat the dratted cat! Off to Family History computer class this morning - I can only come away wiser! Went to see Miss Potter last night - was a bit dubious about going as I coudn't see Renee Zellweiger (spelling?) in the part - to me, Renee will always be Bridget Jones which I hated. However, both Chris and I really enjoyed it. Would recommend it to anyone looking for a feel good movie to see. Have a good day everyone. XX Anna

Way to go Merle :) ~~~~~~~~~~~ consolation wave for the Catz :) Morning everyone, Well, this is the day I get out all our camping gear and check that it all works, including the new tents etc :) I'll be one busy little bee. John is putting down the flooring in the boat so our feet stay dry. The painting of the deck is finished and next week he will do the canopy. Hey, I thought it was Keighley. I've been there and also Idle (~~~SuzyQ and Neville~~~). My Audsley family come from that part of Yorkshire. Quiet day today. Temperature expected to reach 34C with late thunderstorms. We had a ripper of a storm yesterday afternoon and the poor old fish pond is nearly overflowing! How's the Grumpy Old Man this morning, Lara? LIke me to make up a special batch of pills for him? I could knock him out for about a month. Does that sound okay to you???
