Huia 127.0.0.1 is the internal address of all PCs. Some security software routes bad sites back to this to block them (where did you get it from?). If you want to get your IP Address just go here http://www.whatismyip(.)com/ Bob

I think from what he chap told me is that each individual person has to have the blacklisting taken of their own account, i.e. if you mail is bouncing back you need your ips unblocked. xxhugxx

Sounds like a cop-out from NTL. Their server is doing the excess rejections; they know which other ISPs are being blocked by their system; why can't they contact the other ISPs and sort it?

Thanks for that Lindy...... my sister is on Hotmail and she has not been able to e.mail for some time. I now no why. She asked Hotmail why her mails to me kept bouncing but had no satisfactory reply. Have asked her to 'speak' to hotmail about it. Jean x.

You need to contact your server i.e wan a do, hot mail etc and ask them to remove NTL from their blacklist unless you do this you cannot email ntl xxhugxx

If that is the answer what was the question? Actually I went to those websites, one of which did not exist, but the trouble is I do not know who/what my IP address is. Apparently it is in the form of 127.0.0.1 and I cannot find anything like that anywhere on my computer. HELP!

I sent an email to you Daisy,and Tracey,who also has an NTL addy,I got a message this morning saying they had been delay.Its not the first time its happened either lol.I receive all of your messages ok though I used my hot male addy . Anna :-)
