Do you get people making the same comment about your job day in and day out? It's like water off a ducks back to me, but the people that say it think it's so original and humorous and expect you to fall into a heap of uncontrollabe laughter..Here's a few of mine, be interesting to hear yours..

Postman Pat, Postman Pat, Postman Pat and his black and white cat...this is usually some kid who's trying to impress his mates, and of course is seeking a response.. If it's bills you can keep them ha ha ha!! Good job mate, better than walking the streets eh? guffaw!! I wish I had your job!!! (This one is seasonal, only heard on warm, dry , sunny days..never in the winter when you're freezing cold and soaked to the bone)

When i knock on a householders door, and a young child might answer it, i get......Mum/Dad....the BLIND mans here. I work in a greengrocers that also sells a few flowers. I usually kneel down on the floor to wrap flowers/fill lower shelves etc. The comment is always the same 'Say one for me while you're down there'. And I'm always being called Flower; little fruit; little pumpkin; little plum etc etc etc. Yaaaawn!

I've just come back from work (in a freezer) I'm often asked if it is cold working in there , one day i will answer that''No, of course it isn't, Its a hot freezer''- Do they really expect me to answer with anything BUT yes? (no,I dont get cold , i wears about 6 layers and you do adjust) Jess
