Here is a tale of cigarettes. An Arab gentleman had a fleet of camels that traded across the Sahara Desert. He received an order to transport a parcel from one village to another along with other parcels of goods. Off started the 3 camels forming the train and all went well for a week. Suddenly the man leading the train heard 1-2-3-4 with each step the camels took .This went on all the time for 2weeks and drove the man so mad that he shot the last camel in the train. loading the goods onto the remaining camels. All went well for another week and the counting started again. 1-2-3-4- the camel driver got mad and shot the second camel ,loading all the goods onto the remaining camel. Man ,camel and goods arrived exhausted at their destination and the man told a crowd that had gathered what had happened . One man stepped forward and said my parcel has arrived then The camel driver said how do you know I have a parcel for you. Aha said the man its my Players cigarettes that you have brought and the advert is right ITS THE TOBACCO THAT COUNTS!! Sorry about that could not resist. Rupert. |

thanks for your contributions. Could someone please answer me this. My dad was a great smoker and I distinctly remember him smoking a brand that had an adjunct to it 'and four for your friends'. What variety was that.? |

Dorothy, I,m annoyed with you - I did P. (as a non smoker, the reason I remember Pasha,s is that my local newsagent was prosecuted for putting 2 Pashas in every packet of players. E HAS BEEN MISSED OUT - MUST BE ALMOST THE EASIEST OF THE LOT. Think foreign offices. happy days |

Gavin and Viv have made the above suggestion. May I start you off (when we get to it) my favourite - Pasha - from someone who has never smoked.(anyone come up with an 'A' or 'B') Can,t think of an A - google tells me 'Ace' so it,s B or C. happy days |
