Maps - showing counties and towns

Hi. Does anyone know where I can get ahold of maps showing the counties of England, Ireland(N&S) and Scotland that also include the towns for each? Finding it hard to check census records etc. when I don't know quite which area I'm looking for. Any help would be great. Thanks. Margaret |

There is a web site that has alot of the old maps on it cant remember the name of it though try going through google,jeeves or even anscestory. Hope this helps. Malc |

You can try www old-maps (co)(uk) replace the spaces with dots. Brenda |

you could try multimap online,you can zoom in from county to any town ,and further ,to individual streets,it could be quite usful to you .Fred.ptfg.&a&g&s. |
