Sorry Jess For me hyjacking your thread, but as soon as I mentioned Rovers he was in there like a shot. I kept saying have you finished yet, can I have my site back please. As he would talk about them all night. |

Chloe...jamie says...it might be air regulator or idle speed control valve...ask the dealer to check these...if possible pick the cheapest one to be replaced see what happens and if the roblem still persists try the other...it maybe that that the air regulator needs cleaning........sorry if this sounds gobble but am trying to write his technical talk into english when he's concentrating on red dwarf lol |

Hi Jess, Is Jamie available for advice... lol My poor reliable Rover 214 gsi is having a bad time at the moment..... When you start it up its fine, try and drive away is the problem in start roaring its head off and put it into second gear and there is no pull at all in crawls along... Once it has warmed up its fine apart from it doesn,t like hills. Bottom of a hill it slows right down until you have to drop a gear and even then it doesn,t help... Tried changing all plugs and fuel filters but it hasn,t helped.. Any ideas.... Sorry for the long winded explanation... Mhairi |
