Speedy My mum's brother died from appendicitis in 1943 and only 2 years ago the son of my son's teacher had to undergo emergency surgery. He'd been complaining of tummy ache for a week but she thought he was just whinging. So I do know how serious this is and I am so glad he is on the mend. Best wishes, nell
