the problem is they get paid too much so they think they are god and can do whatever they like, manners don't cost a penny!!

I think he is aloud mouthed yob I understand some of his relatives are boxers and it shows in him.No football player no matter how good should be allowed to get away with the type of antics he gets upto. Mind its not completely his fault its the system that allows vast sumsof money to be paid for very little work. Remember Stan Matthews £20 per week? in those days they played like gentlemen were gentlemen and certainly did'nt go down rolling in agony at the slightest tackle. Rupert Bear

On the other hand, if they aren't penalised for falling over dramatically every time someone gets near them and there's a good chance that they will get a penalty awarded themselves, they will go on doing it. I think football refs put up with a huge amount of verbal intimidation and aren't shown much respect by either the players or spectators. In a small game they could abandon the match, but it would be impossible to do that nowadays with all the sponsorship/tv money riding on each game. That's why the players can behave badly - who is going to discipline them? nell
