Sue at Langley thats wonderful. I think some people are born with a motherly instinct - I've seen it in my daughter and I think it comes from Hubby's side of the family 'cos his Mum just wanted to marry and have a big brood ( she had 5 but wanted more ) . Although she still wants to be a teacher. Much happiness Debi |

All I ever really wanted to do was get married and have children - and I did, 4 of them! Now have 4 grandchildren too, the oldest only 8 years younger than my youngest child. I have always been surrounded by children (I was also a registered childminder for over 20 years) and I wouldn't have it any other way! Sue xx |

I always wanted to be a Nurse. Poured over Black's Medical Dictionary from the age of nine. But being the eldest of seven children, I desparatley needed to earn money to have some decent clothes. I left school at 15yrs and just a week later started as a Trainee Dental Nurse. Had just been there a year when my 12yrs old sister died. She would have been the very first child to have a Kidney Transplant at Birmingham's Children's Hospital. But she was too ill to go through with it. I vowed I would eventually become a Nurse. Although I qualified as a Dental Nurse, I never got to fulfull my ambition to become a nurse. I still regret it to this day. Now, if I could see my time over again, I would have loved to have been a Pathologist, (I was fasinated by the report of my first husband's death at the age of 36yrs. He had a very unusual disease called Sarcoidosis.) or a Midwife, Birth is fasinating. I am now a Jack of all Trades and Master off none. My youngest is hoping to become a Midwife, she is going into General Nursing and because money is not too tight, we will give her all the support that we can. Jenny xx |

I'd love a talent of creativeness. My cousin wrote a book called : Willobe of Wuzz: Wuzz is a place not far from here. It's like here. Almost." Thus begins Willobe of Wuzz, the coming-of-age story of a dragon like no other—a dragon who uses his fire power to bake rather than burn, and who'd rather paint pictures than fight with knights. When Willobe wins the friendship of Princess Emily the Resourceful, a major flare-up with his grandfather Cedric results, and a fiery family secret is inadvertently revealed. Estranged from his family, Willobe withdraws to the mountains of Wuzz. Here he often feels, but is not in fact, alone. His friends, the Winglythings and Princess Emily, do their best to support and cheer him. But it is not until he discovers another outcast secreted in a cave that he finds the companionship he needs to be complete. In the end there is reconciliation and rejoicing, and a new beginning for everyone. Throughout there are delightful illustrations by Pamela Breeze Currie, adding warmth and whimsy to this contemporary fairytale, which will please both readers and the read-to. |
