I was 5lb born a month early due to mum having pre eclampsia. My daughter Ellie was born 13weeks early due to pre eclampsia and hadnt grown for a month so she was really tiny at 1lb 4oz. She was perfect, even breathing for herself which was odd to see with 'normal' size babies on ventilators. She just needed to grow but sadly she didnt survive an infection she developed at a month old.

I was 9lbs 6. My Nan who was only 4ft 10 and a bit, had one son in 1922 who weighed 2ibs and 15 months later had another son who weighed 14 and a half pounds, ouch!!! M.

My little girl Isobel was born 10 weeks early and weighed in at 2lb 1oz. I had pre-enclampsia and the placenta wasn't doing it's job.They said she had stopped growing at 28 weeks. I finished work ,ready to start my maternity leave and had her the next day.Never even got time for any pampering sessions....not very fair !! She's 4 now and as thin as a whippet and as sharp as a knife. A year and a week later my other little girl Amelia was born 6 weeks early [pre-enclampsia again] and weighed 4lb 10oz. She's now heavier than her sister and just as tall. Cheers,Carole.

I was 6lb 1oz My children were 1st 6lb 15oz 2nd 9lb 3rd 8lb 8oz 4th 9lb 12 oz, born 6 wks ago now. Liz

I was 7lb 8oz, 2 weeks late. My kids were:- 7lb 10oz - 2 weeks late 9lb - 2 days late and the easiest birth of them all! 7lb 5oz - 2 weeks early 8lb - 2 weeks early I smoked all through the first and third pregnancies, but not at all during the 2nd and 4th. Sue xx

I was 5 lb 11lb and 4 days late. I'm a twin and my sister weighed 7lb 3oz. So quite a heavy combined weight. Which is strange considering the doctors didn't realise my mum was having twins until ONE WEEK before we were born! She only weighed 8 stone at the beginning of the pregnancy so she must have looked huge having nearly 13 pounds of baby inside! My sons weighed 8lb 1oz and 8lb 6oz and were both a week early. Joanne

I was 8lb 3 oz. My eldest was 7lb 15oz Middle 8lb 6oz last 9lb 5oz ( he was 3 and a half weeks early!!)

I was 7lb 3oz and my mother said I looked like a little doll! My eldest was 2 wks early at 7lb 5oz, my middle was also 2 wks early at 7lb 7oz although size-wise he was the tiniest, and my third was 3 wks early at 8lb 5oz.

I was 3lbs 1oz in 1964, went down to 2lbs 9oz after a week. I was a premature twin fed on ideal milk to bulk me up. My husband was 10lbs. Our first daughter was 2 weeks early and weighed 8lbs 10oz. Our second daughter weighed in at 9lbs 12oz. Louise

I don't know what weight I was when I was born but my eldest was 9lb 6ozs, the middle one 6lbs 12ozs and the youngest a dinky 5lbs 1oz!

My dad was 11lb is mum was only 4ft10inch lol i was 10 and half and my son was 10lb born 3 weeks early thank goodness lol .It must run in the family baby elephants !!!
