Every year, women (and men) in the US are missing out on vital mammograms because they cannot afford to pay for them. Unlike here in the UK, their medical treatment has to be paid for. Some are not even able to afford insurance to cover medical bills so they go without.

It is vital for any form of cancer to have early detection and if necessary surgical treatment.

Just over a year ago, my attention was drawn to the following support site. www.thebreastcancersite.com is aiming to help people in the unfortunate place of missing out on vital early detection because they cannot afford to pay for their treatment. The sponsor's of the site have pledged to fund free mammograms based on the number of people who visit the site. So, all that remains for us to do is to visit the site DAILY, click and then carry on with our day to day business. It takes an average of 38 000 clicks to fund one free mammogram! We need your clicks, We need you to get at least ten of your family, friends, colleagues and schoolmates to visit the site every day and 'click'. Ask them to do the same, encourage at least ten of their family, friends, colleagues and schoolmates to click EVERY day.

When you visit www.thebreastcancersite.com you will see a panel on the left hand side of the page and there is a link which says 'Remember to Click'. Head there first, and you will be able to register your email address to receive a polite daily reminder to click. They even put a link direct to the site in their emails so clicking to support is effortless. Once you're at the site, click the pink button, and that's it, you've helped fund free mammograms, you've helped save someone's life. How satisfying is that!

Visit www.asda-tickledpink.co.uk and support breast cancer awareness by purchasing goods of which the profits go towards financing research.
