Hello crafters, I have managed to get in my little craft area , and did two or three cards using new dies and a 6x6 embossing folder, all turned out well and I am especially pleased with the 6x6 folder so I will have a look at the others, Sallie I got the round M/anne die you have and its lovely. I got the one you used on my card havent used it yet but have an idea I want to try out, I also did a doilly type die sizzex and I think its warped it was a pest to do ,,I kept turning it so it finally cut out, but couldnt find any waxed paper couldnt believe I have used it all up... now it can be bought on the roll. so I will see how much it is it was so difficult getting all the bits out , wont let that happen again.... ;-) ;-) ;-)I put one die the wrong way on the card, so just turned it over . perfik.....I will take some pics later and send them to Ann and yourself....hope you have all enjoyed any craft pressies you got this year. I had mine before so christmas. although J did pay for some fancy edged cards for me . which I still have to use..... off to have a cuppa and a scone. bye for now Love Jean xx <3 <3

Its on C/C but I have just bought some sheets of e-bay much cheaper. noticed the rolls of waxed paper is on there too,

Happy New year everyone....let's hope it's a good one. Mine has started off well as I have been asked to join the design team at CD Sunday challenge blog. I am thrilled and it means I get to dust off all those CD'S that have been lying around unused for eons. So if you want to join in the fun and win great prizes pop along.. There is a Creative Craft show being held at Malvern Show ground (under cover) from 27th February to 1st March 2014.

I have been several times before and these are usually very good shows, they cover all sorts of crafts.
Machine embroidery workshops,
Decopatch and block craft workshops,
Bead work shops (3 different)
Mixed media Pile and plunder workshop (machine reverse applique
Extreme textiles
Needle felting flowers
Fusing fabric


Plus supplies for papercrafting/card making, cross stititch, needlecraft, knitting, stamping, quilting, sewing, scrapbooking.

If you want to know a bit more about the workshops ask and I will copy from the leaflet, too much to copy all at once if nobody is interested.

I am off to a three day craft retreat in April with three of my friends plus our yearly two day Craft Barn meet up in June so lots to look forward to.
A busy year ahead with the Manx Craft Guild as lots of events planned plus we have been invited to be in the sea terminal for the arrival of 10 cruise ships through out the year.

Jill sounds like a great year and what a treat to be asked to be around for the cruise ships. I hope you do well. Wish we had cruise ships here in Paphos but they only go to Limassol which is too far away for me. Hugs Wynn xx

I have just been to the R***e and just wanted some little boys stuff , car stickers and fancy big letters, got a few bits, they are to decorate a large plastic box....for C so his toys can go inside, I also bought a £15 grab bag I have had them before this one is excellent and the contents are worth twice as much some art deco toppers, glitter which I nearly bought off e-bay lots of really nice A4 papers, and loads of other bits and pieces, well pleased with it....the rest of the general craft stuff was dissapointing,
I dont know if they are still selling the Docraft mag usually they are on show but couldnt find any and none of the staff knew anything about them....I thought they were good value and always had a freebie that was usually good....~~~~to Jill~~~ hope you have a great time at all your meetings.
