He had three sisters,and they went with their father when he married again,but David is missing at this point.

Thank you for the information. I do hot think David was in Liverpool. I did wonder if he died at or near his birth in Kent but unable to find a record of same.His parents John and Wheeler Black moved to Wales as John worked on the railway. Wheeler -maiden name Coles had family in Pewsey Wiltshire,he may have moved there to live

Yes thank you for your effort,most of the info I have.
A phone call from my cousin Jean Black prompted me to open research on David.-1929
David would be half brother to Jean ( 1938.)I knew her half sisters,and one may still be alive with the knowledge in an unknown location. It's that gap between 1929 to 1934 that's the problem.
I will get the birth certificate and start again

Don't think you will find online any info for 1929- 1934

It may be they were living at the address on mrs Coles death cert for those years

How about school records? He might just about have been old enough for Primary School when his mother died.

It may help to know his full name not. just the second initials
