It's such a hit-and-miss system.
A friend of mine died in late 2016, and her record is open on the 1939 Register.

A Big sorry from me thank you for searching but ive got to many bits of paper work on my desk now i have found my Aunt nance was born 16 /12/1920 and died 20/4/98 .she married Robert Hill he was in queens hussars and a commisoinare at longbridge. Thak you all again richard
