Hi everyone I'm back from a beautiful, sunny Tenerife. Back to the tail end of Hurricane Bertha and what a destructive force she's been!
I'm fine where I am but places a few miles away have not been so lucky. The rivers are all in full spate and bursting their banks and so many poor people have had their houses flooded. Even the railway line at the station is like a canal!
I hope all of you have survived intact.

But back to the thread...some great songs as always and a lot I haven't heard before.

PERSEID METEORITE SHOWER!
Myself, OH, Grandson 1 and Granddaughter 2 went to watch the Perseids in the carpark of a local beauty spot!
Loads of layers of clothes, coats, scarves. Sat in deckchairs under duvets and blankets!! Flasks of tea, cakes, biscuits and choccy!:-D :-D :-D
We saw quite a lot but not as many as last year! The "Super Moon" was too bright!


I'd forgotten how beautiful the words in "IF" were Liz :-)
I think I just marginally prefer the David Gates version.
