So Shirley's 1841 census find shows that the 1811 christening is the wrong girl.

Stoke Gabriel is a fair old distance from Plymouth.

Buy a copy of the marriage cert, to find the details she gave for her father.

The names of the witnesses may also help

You could also try contacting the OPC for the Parish in which she says she was born
