Frederick, there is a 2 Pear Grove in 1901 but as I only have Ancestry I can't find it. Someone who has a FMP sub can search on there by address

I wondered if the people living at the address on the birth cert in 1901 would give any clues.

ithe names on the cert are george hamilton / jennie hamilton nee cunningham 2 pear grove

The address comes up on a search on Findmypast but I can't view the details.

Hi Frederick, if he was a Journeyman Tailor, it means he served an apprenticeship and was self employed. He could have moved around looking for work.

Cannot see any George Hamilton in 1911 who is a Tailor or in 1901 so far.

This is proving very difficult isn't it?

It seems as if this family are going to take a lot of sorting out but it does appear that Ruth and Ellen could be the same person and then there's Jennie Cunningham.
