Thanks Marie Celeste. You are a star. It is definitely Hamson and they have left the P0 out. Thanks the three of you for finding that.

hi

its the parish register book the entry is on page 70, it looks like hanson, like rambling rose said. but try saying it in a lincolnshire accent hanson and hampson could sound the same plus they could not spell very good in those days??

katqueen

katqueen Report 14 Mar 2016 20:17

Sorry sylvain. Looking back I think it is the post from rambling rose just above his that I think he is referring to.

SylviaInCanada

SylviaInCanada Report 14 Mar 2016 20:12

The 1851 Census that I posted was from ancestry .............. and I see it as definitely Elizabeth Hampson on the image.

Is that what safc is referring to?

katqueen Report 14 Mar 2016 20:03

Thanks safc.
.Will follow that up as you and Sylvain seem to be seeing it differently. You didn't say if it was the original transcript you were looking at.

It's definitely not Harrison on the image, if someone else would like to look at FMP it's at the bottom of page 70 'Lincolnshire, parish registers browse, 1538-1911 '

katqueen

katqueen Report 14 Mar 2016 19:37

Sylvain. As I don,t know her parents name I have no way of knowing if Elizabeth is an aunt.. Will see what info I can get on her and maybe it will lead to the info I need. Thank you so much.

katqueen

katqueen Report 14 Mar 2016 19:31

Does it show the original so that you can see if Hampson is mistranscribed into Harrison?

Thanks Rambling Rose. That looks like a distinct possibility. Thanks for your help.

Rambling

That's the only one I can find between 1805 to 1819

Rambling

Rambling Report 14 Mar 2016 18:23

There's a possible on the Claypole parish registers which I'm browsing on FMP

Dec 23rd 1810 Hannah daughter of Joseph Hanson ( does look like an n but names can vary) by his wife Jane.

I'll look to see if there are other options

katqueen Report 14 Mar 2016 17:53

Apologies all. I certainly did mean 1831 not 1931. No Detective, I haven't seen a marriage certificate but the marriage is stated in several other family trees with all the other relevant info correct so no father's name and nor can I find any record of her birth.
