I think that the uniform was originally designed by the Gestapo as a means of interrogation; you'd confess to anything just on the promise of having it removed from the room :-0 :-D :-D :-D

Oh Gosh, if you suffered from nausea during the flight - those uniforms would make it worse! :-S

Allan

the plane we took from New York to Texas when we moved there in 1967 had .................................

cabin crew who did a semi-striptease

:-D :-D :-D :-D

The ladies wore uniforms designed by Pucci, a major designer of the late mid-1960s ....... and his forte was psychedelic colours and patterns

They began wearing blazer, skirt, top, and leggings, all in the same colours and design.

They first took off the jacket

then the skirt came off

then the long sleeved to to show a short sleeved top

and that was where they stopped ....................... because there was hust time for them to get dressed in the reverse order :-D :-D :-D :-D

The outside of the Braniff planes were painted in one of the colours in the uniform

it was quite the eye opener for an innocent naive young Englishwoman :-)

nah

it'll probably be hard labour or domestic servitude, like the first transportees to Australia

and you'll have to travel steerage .......................

which these days will mean hanging on to the wings of the plane :-)

We are still waiting for the midnight knock on the door! ;-)

If we do get deported back to the UK does that entitle us to a house, full benefits and free medical assistance that I have seen some posters complain about on various boards? :-D :-D :-D :-D

At least my UK age pension would then be indexed! :-| :-| :-D :-D :-D

SylviaInCanada

SylviaInCanada Report 1 Nov 2014 02:45

Australia could send you back to Britain, though :-)

Maybe you'll be the first of the new wave of transportees
