Not another car crash, Michelle I hope you start feeling better soon. As Ann has said get a pack of bought catds thats a great idea.

Ann, my car was a total write off so I had to go and buy a new one but my knee is really painful when I drive. Keep going physio every week just hope I don't need surgery. At least the headaches have stopped but still keep getting vertigo. Physio thinks it will improve as my neck, shoulders and arms improve.

You just have to get on taking one day at a time, some days are better than others, today the weather is, at the moment, lovely beautiful blue skies no clouds, but I have done some gardening but now too sore so it could be an excuse to craft, although head down for long makes neck and shoulders more sore, but will just take more tablets and use more rub. Just need to keep reminding myself it could have been so much worse.

Yes, so pleased for you that it was not worse. Keep taking the tablets then :-) :-) <3

Michelle I just told the police that my car was in a dangerous position and was blocking the road so they sent a car out or as no ambulance was needed at that point they would not have sent a car.. The guy that hit me rang his insurance company there and then and said it was his fault. So I was lucky in that respect, but when you think my crash was 5 Feb and as yet even with physio there is no improvement. Taking lots of tablets a day to try to keep the vertigo at bay and for the pain, not happy but need to get vertigo under control. I think having concusion did not help. Good suggestion by Ann!!
Sorry about typing errors having to use phone as laptop causes vertigo.

I was luxky that his car was undrivable as well as mine. My hubby when he came took photos of both cars and the positions they were in, me I never thought of doing that was too shaken up. I hope you get everything sorted soon.

thanx jo hope u r feeling better soon

ive had to go back to doctors with the pain she gave me more strong pain killers and said looks like ive slipped a disk

AnninGlos

AnninGlos Report 16 Apr 2016 16:20

Was the collision hard enough for you to slip a disc? She really ought to have been brought to book for that, I don't understand how she is getting away with it. Do your insurance company know about your injuries?

tinkers

tinkers Report 16 Apr 2016 16:35

yes crash was hard enough but cant understand y our car wasn't damaged as we had rac to check on her and said it was ok and last week car had her first service and I asked then to check underneath just in case and they said car was ok

as for the insurance they didn't want to no dispite injuries I am thinking about putting a complaint in to the police for not doing anything im just fed up with it all

oh funny enough we had a phone call from her insurance we didn't pick up cos battery was dead in phone and when I phoned back later on the guy didn't no what it was about if its important they will phone back lol

She may be trying to make a claim against you, was her car likely to be damaged? maybe she just hit your bumper which is why there was no damage. Anyway, surely her insurance company should be dealing with your insurance company, not you direct.

tinkers Report 16 Apr 2016 16:46

don't think there was any damaged to her car mind she couldn't even b bothered to hang around to c if we were ok

Jo Jo Report 16 Apr 2016 18:18

I was told by the police officer that came to my accident that now they only come to accidents where injury requiring an ambulance to be called and if vehicles are undrivable and blocking the road or are in a dangerous place. Which makes it difficult if you have no witnesses. A friend of mine who was hit from behind when she braked as the car in front of her suddenly braked and turned left. The guy said it was his fault but now is claiming that she stopped for no reason and so the accident was her fault and he is now claiming from her. She is challenging it but her insurance said it will most likely end up as a 50 50 claim.

I have as usual been cardmaking , christmas cards, I think I have made 60/70, its been a lifesaver when I was without my lap top, I stiil keep finding stuff I had put away, so had a lot of cards from last year which I have recycled, plus quite a lot of toppers and embellishments, I wonder what other crafters have been up to.
I look forward to reading all about it, keep crafting.

Hi Jean, I have not started on Christmas yet, I had quite a few family cards to make for July and have made a few more ordinary ones but most of my time has been spent in the garden or out in the sun when it was here.

Nice to have meals prepared for you. We are off to Chepstow today to meet a friend for a pub lunch so no cooking tonight. :-D

Evening Ann and Jean. The only thing I have made are some bead covers for Christmas baubles, which I quite enjoyed doing but as usual I have not started my Christmas cards yet and I have only made the cards that needed to be made for birthdays. Unfortunately we had had three family members die unexpected so that has taken the wind out of my sails, still hope to be back on form after the last funeral next Thursday, it was delayed due to her grandson not being given leave by the army till then. At least the weather is a little cooler today, which for me is nice, as I have said before I prefer the winter time.

Hope everyone is keeping well.
Love Jo xx
