True...so very true but that would be offensive...and would that be the original hot air thread or the in memorial one?

Theresa May criticises National Trust over ‘ridiculous’ decision to drop ‘Easter’ from egg hunt.

It would have to be the 'in memorial' thread, obviously!

Shouldn't your statement be on the Easter Egg thread, Dermot, or is that a random thought? :-D :-D :-D

Caroline

maggiewinchester - random indeed.

How about the jaw-dropping article in today's Times Newspaper concerning the grossly inappropriate behaviour of a Monk & others at Ampleforth Catholic College?

Depressive reading.

If a tree falls in a wood and no one is there how do we know when it fell let alone anything else. :-(

maggiewinchester Report 6 Apr 2017 15:26

I was talking to my sister the other night, she mentioned the number of books she reads.
I said I didn't read much now, I thought all the reading I had to do at Uni put me of reading, to a degree.

( Thinks )

Should I trust GPs at a surgery where 'clients ' are referred to as 'patient 's '

I wanted to get up and correct their grammar !

Caroline

Caroline Report 6 Apr 2017 18:13

If it's just a check up it might be okay I suppose but anything that requires them writing any instructions like an operation I might be a tad worried Gwyn :-S

Dermot

Dermot Report 6 Apr 2017 18:36

It’s not possible to derive a rule of grammar from logical principles.

(I'm too tired to find out who wrote that.)

To be fair, I'm not sure who loads the message screen, which direct patients to the correct doctor.

Today's rolling message stated that 176 patient's did not turn up for their appointments in March.

My post at 15.19 where the spelling of Scandinavian was totally incorrect, was the result of a bizarre set of circumstances.

My keyboard is faulty, the spell checker obviously didn't, and I may have consumed a bit more red than usual :-D

Caroline

Caroline Report 6 Apr 2017 22:10

Thought so Allan :-D :-D

Allan

Allan Report 6 Apr 2017 22:15

At least I'm honest, Caroline :-D
