Hi Ive got my family on 1901 census,and cant see them at all before that.
Richard Biggs aged 33 born shropshire wall
Ann wife
Annie daughter 15
Fanny daughter 12
William son 8
Ernest 4mths
All born in differant parts of shropshire.I just cant find anywhere on any other census.Would be grateful if some kind person had time to take a look.Ernest was my grandfather,and have been stuck here for weeks.Thanks Kay.

I am wondering Richard is Ann's second husband. On the 1891 he is down as single but there is quite a gap on the 1901 for his children - 8 years - between William & Ernest.

On the 91 census there's an Ann Jackson in Church Stretton with daughters Annie 5 and Fanny E. 2. Says she's married but no husband there. However she has a sister living with her who's single and surname is Carter, so Ann must have been a Carter married to a Jackson.

Looks as if he didn't get married till 1894

After looking again at the 1891 census, I believe Ann Jackson was a widow. It looks like Md. but for the others it's just M for married and I think hers is Wid.

It's difficult to find him in earlier censuses because in 1901 he says born 1868 Wall, Shropshire and if that's him that Nicola found in 1891 it says born 1865, Wolverhampton.
