Re that thread that you Laughed at. Not sure about the car salesman occupation, sounds more like han hadvertising henthusiast to me.

Mind you the poor chap has obviously not enjoyed the best start in life if his family lived in Ocker Hill (Known locally as Ocker Bonk). I think that is how they spell farther there but I did not know that your farther's farther was known as farter or that they had a somewhat unusual spelling of Valerie.

Thats sounds nice --does you good sitting in the sun --- even better when you can watch others working !

My lappie crashed -- would not boot up - tried everything -- it all started when I had an email from the FTM software house offering a free Driver scanner -- so downloaded it then when it listed all the out of date drivers and asked me if I wanted to up date them -- said Yes and they wanted 50 quid ---- so un installed the program --which was ok ---

Shut down lappie coz wifi was playing up --- when I switched back on --- it would not load anything --- did all the Fn boots and it jammed when it was loading driver files --- so knacked completely -- nothing worked -- tried every trick I knew

Eventually managed to boot up from c: prompt late last night

Backed it up - this morning to be sure -- so hopefully all ok now

That sounds very tecnical to me Renes....glad you got it working though, mine went funny the other night I was lost, tried to use HID's desk computer it was horrid.

I can do a bit for myself with computers ---- this lappie was the first computer I have ever bought pre loaded --- usually load all my own in one by one

But with these modern lappies -- you do not even get disks --- they are preloaded ---
