I will save you some for tomorrow Ginns!

I had SO many tomatoes, I had to do something with them - I could tell that my husband was NOT looking forward to it but he thought it was wonderful !! 'Praise indeed !!' - I have a convert ;-)

Mind you, after the last few days, we were almost falling asleep while we were eating it :-D

I took your reiteration to mean that you didn't 'really' fancy my soup Ginns - even tomorrow you would be 'full' !! :-D

Glad to see that it was not meant !!

Solved the 'router problem' !! - Hubby bought a new one, after several hours of 'fiddling' and 'cursing' and giving himself a headache !!! :-D

Thankfully, it only cost £30 and seems to be much better than the old one!

However, when he unplugged the old one, he discovered a 'reset' button at the back which would probably have solved all the problems !!!!!!!! :-0

I sometimes do wish he knew what he was doing !!!

Dea Report 20 Oct 2011 21:05

You are welcome to some Cynths - I have to say that is REALLY nice !!!

I am SO pleased that I had all those tomatoes to use up !

Don't know where Sylvia is but she must be arounf somewhere??

SO strange, I feel more awake now that I did 2 hours ago ?? - It must be the relief of having no 'grandparental' responsibility for a while ??

OH went to pick some quince this afternoon.

Used one of those triangular pruning ladders to reach some higher fruit

Ladder slipped

OH and ladder fell to ground ....... fortunately he was only on the 3rd step from the bottom, so didn't have far to fall

but he landed flat on his back

so he's limping around now with very sore muscles!

strange thing is ............ he claims it's getting better every time I suggest making an appointment to see the physio :-D

He may change his mind tomorrow... these things can take more than 24 hours before you really feel it.....

Always the optomist... ;-)

I should have had physio on my foot... even now at the gym where I went for a fitness assessment they said I should still have physio... I am suffering enough with the exercises they have given me... we went for dinner after our fitness class on Wed night and after my meal I wobbled and staggered to the car... and I was sober. Yesterday my legs were still sore... but are coming right today...

Now I will just heat up some of Dea's soup for my tea...
<3 Thanks Dea...

Oh poor Persie - I can just see you staggering and wobbling to your car after that exercise class :-D

I have always claimed to be 'allergic to exercise' ;-) It always seemed to me that the 'fit' people who did lots of sport etc were always the ones who suffering sprains, strains and injuries, whereas if you 'steared clear' of such strenuous activities like myself, you were generally better off!

Hope you enjoyed the soup!

Sylvia, - what a good job your OH was not higher up on that ladder!

I expect he will feel sore and bruised for a while though - hope he feels better very soon !!!

Many thanks for the lovely breakfast again, I will fill myself up before grandson arrives to 'run me ragged' for the rest of the day.

Hope everyone has a lovely day!

Persephone Report 21 Oct 2011 08:21

I think your grandson gives you plenty of exercise Dea.. :-D

Sylvs... I just hope he is able to get out of bed once in there and when everything settles it can be hard to get out again...
I used to be exhausted by the time I got off the couch after I broke my foot but then the couch is lower than a bed ... except my daughter and son-in-law's bed ... it is so close to the floor... really comfortable but terrible to get out of.

Take care all... even you Fans..winter is coming and I wouldn't want you to catch a chill when working your corner of the block. Gins could come around to your lamp post and sing her Sheffield song: Na Na Na Naa Naa Naaaaa, ooo!

Persie ;-)

Cynthia Report 21 Oct 2011 08:26

Good morning friends and thank you for breakfast Sylvs. I can take my time over it cos Dea has scarpered :-D

Your OH may need some TLC today Sylvs.........manstyle of course. Lots of soothing words, cups of tea and newspapers. Feet up on a stool, cushion at his head just at the right angle for the tv. Men!

Oh Persie.......why do I have a vision of you in your 'Lycra' weaving your way clumsily to the car??? Didn't anyone take a photo of you??

:-D :-D :-D

It's Friday, I LIKE Fridays........ :-)
