Is there a Corwena Hughes, b. March quarter 1991, registerd Corwen, fathe possibly Tom, Tommy, or Thomas

Birthplace might be shown as Llangwm ...... in Denbighshire

Thing is, I don't have the slightest idea when Corwena was born!


Is there a Thomas Edward Hughes b ca 1877 Llangwm or Corwen ...... living either in Corwen area, Wales, or possibly Manchester area?

Are you SURE it isn't her Sylvia - there is a connection there to Denbighshire and she is born at the right time in the right place ??

Why are you SO sure her father is Thomas ???

'cos Thomas / Tommy was OH's gt uncle, and Corwena, Katie, Marion etc were his known children

I also know that she had a child illegitimately some time in the 1940s, who thought Corwena was his aunt until he was in his 50s.



and I made a guess based on the fact that the only Corwena Hughes showing on freebmd between 1900 and 1930 was that one in 1911.


Does that make sense??

Before I go - I just have to add the recipe for the Onion rings in the morning !!

I do not eat them for breakfast though LK - BUT they are georgeous with a steak. !!

Thinly slice the onions - shake in seasoned flour, then milk, then flour again - deep fry in oil until crisp and golden brown !! - MUCH better than the frozen batter ones that you can buy !! AND - they give you LOADS of 'pennie scratchings' that we all used to enjoy as children !!

I will cook them in the morning as a 'one off' for LK as she is suffering at the moment, but never again at breakfast tme !!!

I still have the use of my legs Renes, but can't walk too far. Tried using it indoors but it was akward getting through the doors and hard work on the carpet bits.
I have one weak arm and hand so I would'nt like to self propel for too long.
Going to see neuro tomorrow maybe he will suggest something for the pain in my leg then I will be able to sit up longer

To be honest Renes as long as I can get about the house without it I'm happy. I know visiting the parents would be a nightmare, they have a biggish house but its full of cr*p so no room to move one about.

If the have an event for going around in circles that would be ok Renes
