oh ... some good news on the insurance front


OH has to find out how much it would cost to replace the generator, and let the assessor know.

There will then be a $200 deductible, and the insurance company will issue a cheque for the balance.


We do have replacement insurance for the house and goods ......... have had for 30 or 40 years. But this is the first time we've had to make a claim. (fingers, toes and everything crossed!).


We've decided that we are probably not going to replace the generator ......... we've been talking for a couple of years that it is getting to the time when I no longer enjoy going up there, and time to consider selling the place. We can rent a generator when we do go up, for a day, week or month.

In her pm she states her father would be 94 now but on her other thread which is actually about her fathers side he was born 1913 ??? well even without using a calculator I could work that out to be 97/98.

She also has her parents marriage cert which she mentioned on an old thread on surnames so why not tell us what it says.

Anyway I am not interested now, she can find her own empty dog bowl lol

That's a very weird one. As Jax says why not give the details on the certificate.

Although the name doesn't appear on the list, he could be the child of a female relative so the name would have changed. Seems fishy to me.

The thread in question is about her mother that I helped on and that is correct I think?? But she is going on about her father so I think she has got them mixed up, but after her comment on that thread this morning she can go and whistle
