I can see and read Ginny's nutter thread on the GR wall

I cannot see the wild one's posting either on the GR wall, nor on my wall

i really do not know but i had to hunt for them

maybe it is similar to your own wall when you have to click on most recent to see it.

Thanks for the info on Edith Smith, Sylvs she sounds quite remarkable.

I am glad she managed to get away from her family in the end and find some happiness.

Corn Flakes, Triple Berry Oatmeal Crisp, AllBran, Multigrain Cheerios, Mini Wheats


Hot cereal:-
Porridge, Apple Cinnamon Instant Oatmeal


In the warmer:-

bacon, breakfast sausages, turkey sausages, hash browns, omelettes, poached eggs, grilled tomatoes


Pancakes, French toast, Maple syrup, Golden Syrup



Toast, Danish, croissants, crumpets

Jams, jellies, seville orange marmalade, marmite, peanut butter

even into her 80s, if a man smiled at her, she thought they were after her!



Some of the stories she told me were pretty funny, and very hard to believe!



I bet she really was a handful back in the 20s and 30s!

Thanks for the breakfast - I've had some Cheerios to see me on my way to my desk - I have toast there later on.


Hope everyone is okay today.


I am concerned about my best friend again - she is back in hospital but it is so hard to find out what's going on because her husband is getting rather vague and doesn't what to do and her sons have absolutely no experience of this sort of thing and seem to be finding things difficult.


There has also been an infection on her ward so visitors at their own risk apparently. Will try and get there this week. I really miss my daily natters as we have spoken two or three times a day for over 20 years.


Although she has three sisters and a brother, all her confidences were left with me and I know what stress she has been under for over 12 months. I would love to 'fight her cause' for her but I have to remember that I am not family so must stand back and let them do what they think is best. Hard, very hard.

Yes Cynthia, it is hard under these circumstances, when you are very close but you are not 'family'!

They might appreciate your help and advice though Cynths if they are 'struggling'. - I know you will be very 'diplomatic' in the way you give it.

I hope things get a little better for her soon.
