Sounds like my Ebert. Especially with mother's name being Bryant.

Hi Astra,
Thanks again for helping look for Ebert English.
When were the enlistments for ?
I am wondering because on the roll in QLD in 1949 he was listed as a soldier and I think I had told you that is where I received his DOB when he enlisted here . Unless he had a son with the same name he would be getting quite old to be joining up in the 1940's. Bearing in mind one has to be 21yrs old to get on the roll.
Mary O'Connell was about 36yrs when she married Ebert in NSW.
I think that is abit old to be starting to have children.
Anyway it's food for thought.
