Rootgatherer - typical! The very one that you're looking for isn't there! I can't thank you enough for all this help, hope that you feel that you've had a productive day on my behalf. It's been very exciting all morning checking back into my threads to see that another message has been added.

Not that it matters now, but I wasn't thinking straight originally when I said that Lydia was my Grandmother's sister - Lydia was in fact my Grandma's auntie. But obviously all the info that you've found is still relevant. We weren't sure if "Lilly" was a shortened version of Lydia and that they may be the same person, but you've cleared that up for us now.
