Martha married William Blakeman in 1865 and according to the marriage cert, her father was Benjamin Poole. However, as I cannot find anything else about Benjamin I wondered if his name was just picked out of a hat so to speak. Or if Mary was widowed and then married another POOLE? you can see I amclutching at straws !!!
