Could I please have some help with Richard Davies for 1861..I believe this could be him for 1871...I know very little about him prior to 1871 except that his Fathers name was George Davies...Mothers name unknown but he could have had a brother George born around the same time give or take a few years...

What was the father's occupation?

Have you got census info for Richard, the accuracy of which you are 100% certain?

Yes Flick I got his Fathers name from Richards Marriage Cert..Profession Sailor..All Census from 1881 to 1901 give the wrong information..The 1911 Census state Richard was born Cornwall..I am really desperate to find Richard for 1861..1891 he is in London..Richard married in St Hilary in 1872..

Right it seems he married Mary Ann Prisk on the 13 Jan 1872.

Can you tell us how you got back to Richard?

The names/birth years/birthplaces of his children would help us to help you

As a rule I try to answer most replies as soon as I see them posted but in this case I couldn't as I had visitors coming...I will post what I have on Richard after 1871 if you will give me a little more time through the day..Its 7.02am here and I am off to work.Will post on Richard when I return home this evening.
