Lets talk about transcriptions. I was convinced Martha Target did not marry Edward Ranger, then I found this....

MARTHA TARGET Female

Marriages:
Spouse: EDWARD BANSER Family
Marriage: 25 OCT 1813 East Knoyle, Wiltshire, England

Oh I would love to see the original of that entry. BANSER RANGER

Only way I can do that is visit the local Family History Centre and ask to look at the microfilm of the entry. That'll have to go in my gunna list.

Grrrrrrr!!! This is far too hard. I have just found another tree with more Ranger types born and bred in Hindon Wiltshire. Waiting for enlightenment and information.
