	The one born in Hexham Joined up in November 1913 but was discharged as "Unlikely to become an efficient soldier" in January 1914. The reason being that he had deformed ankles. On his attestation papers he gives his occupation as a gardener. Name: John Edward Pearson Estimated Birth Year: abt 1894 Age at enlistment: 19 Birth Parish: Hexham Birth County: Northumberland Document Year: 1913 Regimental Number: 10111 Regiment Name: East Yorkshire Regiment Number of images: 10
