William Tann DoB about 1823-6 depending on source , we believe he was not a Yorkshireman; however he lived his adult life, married and died in Yorkshire, Some census list Norfolk being his birth place and without knowing this or his parents we cannot go further back. |

There are 2 possible William Tanns on the 1841. I'd strongly recommend that getting one of his children's birth certificates for mother's maiden name and then working back to the marriage is the only way to be sure of tracing the right person. |
