Hi tracing back my family I.ve got to Charles Powell dob 1887 in Salford ,married to Marion Oakley dob 1893 in Walsall, and I've come to a stop any help appreciated

Hi Marion is on her own visiting a Forrester family in 1901 so I cannot see her parents. You will have to find her birth cert to take it further back. Do you know how to do that? Liz

Hi All I'm getting Mary Powell 1833 Grantham , now could she be married to a Charles powell 1832 Shoreham, Sussex or am I wrong

1861 Charles is married to Mary, occupation Musician. Address Bamford Street 1861 shows son Henry G born Birkenhead, with Charles and Mary 1871 shows Henry G with mother Mary. Can't see Charles in 1851, born Shoreham, There is one in Ticehurst (1827) too far.

Cannot find Charles which is odd. Edmund Powell died Oct-Dec 1897 aged 36 Bury 8c 404 Martha Jane remarried a William Rigby 1901 Census Head William Rigby b 1875 b Bury Wife Martha J b 1862 b Lincolnshire Step son Richard Powell b 1891 Whitefield Step Dau Clara Powell b 1894 Whitefield Step Dau Martha b 1895 Whitefield Son Arthur Rigby b 1900 Whitefield. Can't see Charles on 1851 either, tried various combinations, but no luck Not on IGI either. A parish lookup/ Sussex Records Office, although his marriage cert would give his father's name to take you a step further back.
