Find Ancestors

Hi, I'm trying to locate a family from Pontypridd in Glamorgan Wales. I know the following information. HEAD: Stephen Thomas, WIFE: Ellen Polin, SON: Buller Joseph Thomas (born 01.01.1901 in Pontypridd) Could anyone help me find them please??? Thanks.

Such a common name in Wales, as you know. I think more info is needed if you have it. The ages you expect them all to be, places of birth also would be of great helpWhat is the Polin name with the wife? Maiden name or middle name? Regards Sam

I wish I had more info but unfortunately I don't. Polin is Ellen's maiden name.

I see, so that's not relevant in a 1901 search then, just wanted to clarify. I have looked on Ancestry but no luck with Ellen or Buller Joseph I'm afraid Sam

Thank you Sam, Yes I have that birth certificate which is how I know Ellen's maiden name. I was confused by the fact that his name is written as Buller Polin Thomas. I was told that his middle name was Joseph because he was known as Joseph (as I'm sure you can appreciate being given the name Buller!!!) I just can't find anything else on the family and its brought me to a stand still.

The only Thomas/Polin marriage I've come up with is Alfred & Susan... Yeah I noticed that Sidney was a stepson and that his surname was just Polin so he must have been Ellen son from another relationship?

Sidney has got the Thomas surname Glen, just like Buller (I have a hard job saying that name???) both have Ellen's maiden name as their middle name. I thought I was onto something regarding a previous marriage for Ellen - Richards?? But it was a lot of supposition so I didn't post it.
