She is now the same size as me .......a little over what we should be...LOL

Hi all.
My god you lot can talk for England, it took me ages to catch up on all the gossip.

Marilyn, a lovely Polish dentist. There was no language barrier then, especially with a mouth full of instruments.
Oh and since when have you ever done as you have been told. He must be luverly, for you to obey him lol.
That packet of cisps you have just eaten, wont do your teeth any good, all that crunching will set the nerves of again.

Ahhhh Pauline it's good to see ya, to see ya good.
We did wonder where you were.
I cant believe you were a 10lb baby, you are such a tiny little thing. One gust of wind and you would blow away.

Shelly, don't lose to much weight, we luv ya just the way you are. Just a few pounds here and there wont hurt, but don't make yourself ill worrying about it.
I haven't seen Lilly since Thursday, but I am in daily contact with them all.
They have got her nan and grandad down fromScotland, so we are giving them time to be alone with them. But hopefully I will see them tomorrow.
I will give little minx lots of hugs and cuddles from all her cyber aunties.

Cath why do you want to be a skinny cow, be comfortable in your own skin.
After years of worrying about how much I weighed, and diet after diet, I have accepted what I am.
Going from a 10/12 up to a size 16 was a great shock to my system initially, but going through the change did that for me, so I had no say in it.
Now I am between a 14/16,and as long as I find some fashionable clothes,I don't mind.

Pat, you will have to put extra layers of clothes on honey to keep you warm.
Or go to the dentists with Marilyn next week, and get an eyeful of her dentist, that will warm the cockles of your heart.

Now where has our Stephen got to lately.

LindainBerkshire1736004 Report 21 Jan 2011 19:45

As Marilyn knows having actually seen me I too am of short stature 5ft 2 ins, unless I too have lost height. Weighed in at 7lb 8ox when I was born.
Need to loose a lot of weight but suffice it to say I am possibly the heaviest here, except maybe the men !!!

Enjoy your evening all Linda :o) XxX

PS back to some knitting since I finished one lot of paperwork. Finished a half made cardigan and matching pull on hat too, babies size in a pretty lilac wool. No babies yet in this family, but I have one local Mum expecting in April, doesn't know the sex yet and it's her 4th !!!

Well it looks like most of us are petite on here, except for Rita. I can't remember how tall you are Rita, but I know you're tall.

Mo, what height are you?

Mo in Kent Report 21 Jan 2011 19:54

Pauline I used to be 5ft 6inch, but allowing for shrinkage with age, I must now be about 5ft 4inch.

Dermot

Dermot Report 21 Jan 2011 21:08

GRKidnappedmylittlemanfaceMarilyn - how dare you ask such personal & confidential questions!!

I was very young when I was born & remember very little. On the other hand, my mum remembers everything - very clearly, she used to remind me.

There was no measuring tape to hand - so a piece of string was used to measure my height. Unfortunately, the string was not long enough to assess the size of my head. Here, you should think of Homer Simpson's head for comparison.

I felt neglected as a youngster. The farm animals always got seen to first. What food was available was always fresh though. One of my tasks was to monitor the chickens & bring in the eggs as soon as they were laid - still warm. There was no need to check the 'sell-by-date'.

Usually, the cat had to disappear from my cot to allow my mother to put me to bed. But, of course, he'd always sneak back later & there we both slept happily till dawn. The only time the cat might stir was when a visiting mouse would show his head around the corner. Such noise with cat chasing the mouse hotfoot out the half-door & through the chicken coup - poor chickens, no eggs for a while after their frightening intrusion. There was no sympathy for the mouse because he was obviously a stranger to the area.

Our poor dog ignored the goings-on because he was blind. He wore a white bandage around his back leg following that unfortunate incident. One day, he thought he was chewing a bone & when he got up, his leg fell off. His hearing was fine & was always happy to hear the sweet consoling words from us and every passer-by.

*Part 2 tomorrow, next week or never - depending on readers’ requests.
