You know what they say Stephen, many a fine tune is played on an old fiddle.

I am still ploughing through the Paul O'Grady, it has some laugh out loud moments in it. He came to live in London, and moved to Camden Town. It is funny, I know exactly where he is talking about, and it has changed so much. He is describing how it used to be, and I can see that too in my minds eye.

Load of rubbish [in my opinion] on tv tonight. We started to watch Vera last week, and REALLY wanted to like it, as we like Brenda Blethyn. But the accent is so dire, ask Pauline, that we gave it up as a bad job.

Gonna go and have a cornetto and flick around to try and find something to watch.

If not back later, sleep well.

maddie some time there is just to many post for me to keep up with and i then forget what iv read and that leads me to not responding to every post

try and right click on it and see if you can viras scan it with your anti viras
that way your hole pc dont have to have a full scan

Maddie, we did the same as you with that 'Vera' thing, tried to watch it last week but gave it up as a bad job........ and yes, it's the worse attempt at an accent I've ever heard.

Sat and watched a DVD cos there was beggar all on.

Glad you agreed with me about the accent in Vera, Pauline.

You speak the lingo, and I have the ear for it, cos of Mr. K's family. Apparently she has been listening to tapes of Cheryl Cole to get the accent.

Looks brigt again so far
Managed to get rid of more dead plants yesterday evening, mainly cos the tortoise had disappeared and I hadn't seen him all day !!!
He had been hiding under some plants that needed thining out as it really wsn't warm enough for him yesterday.

I also managed to get hubby to break up a spare single divan base that i have been trying to get rid of for 2 years. It is now in various piles, metal to recycle, wood to burn, fabric and plastics out with the rubbish this morning. Now that wasn't so hard was it ??

Little here later so I guess we'll be doing some sticking. I just had a thought that maybe we should make a Fathers day card before she leaves.

Bacon, eggs, sausage, mushrooms, tomatoes, hash browns.
Hot rolls, bagels, toast.

Tea, coffee, or juice.

Am off to have a shower now before Scarlett wakes and wants food, isn't it strange how having a baby in the house can change the whole days routine? or is it just me getting old?
