Morning All,

Shelly ...was that hubby described as a comically tubby man ?
If it was he was very smart.....don't suppose he goes to work dressed like that though :-)

I didn't see that posting about number 10 I must have been too busy !!

Stevey ....are you renovating that monstrosity ? :-S

Its a bit cooler here today ,but very warm.

Jean good luck for today my lovely 0000000000000000 <3

Both my boys are away on holiday this week ...One in Portugal & other in Turkey.......both rang me last night saying they are loving it and the kids are having a Turkish bath this morning , hmmm I could do with one of those right now save me running my bath !! LOL

Morning late coming on, I didnt bother to get out of bed till 7.30 then had a shower and had my breakfast brown bread and butter and a large peach how daft is that for a breakfast ?

Then I sorted out my pills for the week I keep then in one of those Mon to Sunday pill boxes so I dont forget to take them.

as sometimes I am that busy I did forget to take them.

stephen this fellow is a lovely man he is so polite as well, he walks with me when I meet him out and opens doors and carries shopping.
we were talking just after he moved here he said I dont drink or smoke I thought that is unusal for a man like him, he goes hiking a lot all over England and abroad. so I was mot really surprised when he said where he was going and what he was doing for three weeks.

Thought are with Jean this morning postive thought for Jean and her treatment lets hope she does not get such bad re=actions as she did last time.

Must have a cup of tea now. see you later.

Rita

Rita......NO conniving with this New Toy Boy in the block! ;-)
You'll get this manager of yours talking about you ..LOL

I have just washed my hair and I now need to have my highlights done in urgency its not looking good....so a phone call is needed.

I had to ask my twin sister to try on my evening dress so I could take the hem up ,so difficult when its on oneself. its all done the other one was OK.
I'm trying to get together clothes for this coming holls as its a bit of everything warm & a bit chilly in the evenings on the train across USA.

Its a bit too hot here to do anything ,so I might just abandon my plans for today and just chill out ;-)

Maddie I think some postmen only lightly knock or ring as I have been in many times still had a note in my door .
The last note I had was to collect a birthday card , as I knew who it was from I didn't bother to collect it as they charge £1 40p .....it had a badge on it with a rhyme and my brother in law said I didn't realize it would cost more than 2 first class stamps !! At least he was in agreement with me to not collect it...lesson learnt .
Back later.......

Afternoon everyone, just a quick look in before I go out.

000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 for Jean, good luck for today.

Rita, are you chatting men up again? No man is safe where you are :-) :-)

Shelly, I recognized your hubby from photos I've seen.............. although he was slimmer in the photos. I haven't read what it said, just had time to look at the photo............ so why was he picked to be in the photo?

Marilyn, you're a bad influence on Pat............ or maybe I should say a good influence - food tastes much better with a glass of wine.

Pauline I am not chatting this man up he has a girl friend he calls her his lady friend she is only 5 ft to his 6ft 5. why is it so many tall men like smaller ladies ? I know at least four who are head and shoulders taller than their wives.
I remember going out with a soldier in about 1944 he was smaller than me and I felt terrible uncomfortable even with flat shoes I was still taller than he was. when he went abroad we wrote to each other, for a while then I met a Sailor and I didnt hear anything from this soldier but strange after the war he wrote to me, he lived up North and had a garage.

I am 5ft 8 inches tall. now.

I had to add this a litle while ago someone tapped on my window and told me I had a hedgehog under one of my plants. ?
I thought it was a joke. I said yes I know. she told me they like milk.
she didnt know but I had put it there. when I moved here 8 years ago my daughter gave me a stone and bristle tortoise foot cleaner which stood outside my flat door , but we had to remove all these and little tables and plants we had in the little lobby due to Health and Safety if there is a fire anyone upstairs would hang onto the banister rails and feel there way along the wall so could have an accident if the fell over the table or my shoe cleaner. so I put it in the hall. but it was stuck in the corner. so I thought I would put it in the garden as a garden ornament , so I managed to lift it and do that , stuck it under the bush with the front half sticking out.
and she had spotted this thinking it was real.
The stone is so heavy and the bristles are like a broom. at least it is seeing the daylight now she went away laughing.

Rita, it doesn't matter if he's got a lady friend - you can still be his friendly friend. You could do with finding yourself a gentleman friend so you could go for walks together. If you went for a walk with George you could take turns using the zimmer frame. :-D :-D :-D

Shelly, I was going to ask you if they gave him anything to eat. I hope you put a comment on your tree about him being on the photo because he was an outstanding worker. It'll be good for your great x5 grandchildren to know.

Edit: Rita, I forgot to say............. my husband is a foot taller than me, mind you - I'm only 5' 2''.
