Had a quiet day really.
Shopping to top up til we go away.
Round to our tortoise sitting friends........................ they love him!!! Though today he stayed in his nesting box as it has been so miserable
It has rained off and on all day today.
Hubby cooked dinner
Our bride to be popped in with a few last questions.
Rang Canadian cousin around mid-day, she should now be nearing the airport in Toronto and be in England around 7 tomorrow morning.
Need more time please to finish planting, or maybe no little for the next 2 days.
Other childs Mum has popped a cheque through the door so that episode is all done now.

Hi Everyone,

Well not long got back from hospital,but went out for a meal as it was too late for me to cook.....Good excuse !!

Now the hospital .....well I have got to have another CT scan as I was in a some pain 6 weeks ago, they wanted me to have an MRI scan but I begged them to just let me have a CT scan instead.......cant go through that tunnel again, so claustrophobic I was the last time .Pete had to have his head in with me bending over...... I was so so frightened.

Anyway they have relented and said I could have the least one CT scan
So that will be in the next 10days.

Not to worry I think and that's what I'm thinking.........that they are covering themselves .

Got to carry on regardless, at least my flu like symptoms have gone I wonder if its because I had the flu jab and it stopped half way ..LOL

Now having a cuppa, anyone joining me ?

Hope the weather holds out for you Linda so you can finish your planting. But it looks lovely anyway so don't worry about it.

The hospital have to be careful and keep a check on you. It's better to be safe than sorry. At least you know they're not taking any chances.

Rita I had wall insulation put in last year and not had any problems, and I think the house was warmer during the winter, we used to have a cold spot at the top of the stairs but thats gone.

Its been raining all day here

the plumber is coming tomorrow afternoon to have a look at the water tank.

Our cavity wall insulation has been in since before we moved in here,and we have never had any problems with it either.

Rita, we watched Dominic this morning as well. Oh my god the state that the house was in,was unbelievable.
Thank goodness it was resolved for the family.

My son's Fiance has got to go for an emergancy scan tommorrow. The doctor now thinks she has got an ectopic pregnancy.

Marilyn.................. no hat, just a very pretty fascinator that goes absolutely with my outfit !!! Really thinking have we done everything now. Sure to have forgotten something?
Got up early to check the flight from Toronto................... she is due at T5 at 6:45, earlier than expected. Then I realised I hadn't got out the chicken for tonights dinner !!! So it's out now. 2 birds one stone.
Have Little M coming at 8 so hubby going on his own.

Misty here this morning. Hope it brightens up.

Hi All Marilyn try and not worryI know it is hard but think positive. it is proabally as you say they want to make certain things are OK. I know what you mean with the MRl they let my sister come i with me when I had mine done they made her take her watch off and she sat where my head was . I hate being shut in. I have loads of scans Polo mint I call them. at least you will not have t wait too long to get it done.
I think the intaltion going wrong was because the contractors had not had a servey done but what a hell of a mess. friends in Norolk one had her walls so damp you could squosh the plaster the other one was alive with ants they breed in the filling and it cost her a fortune to get rid of it she them had the fill sucked out of her walls.
My husband being a builder after he came out of the Army said he always told people to make sure they had insurance to cover anything after it was done.but he always said no way would he have that done Walls were meant to breath my Dad was a master builder and he said the same. it works for some people but now all.
Linda the clock is ticking along all this time and it is now on you. l hope things go really well and the weather stay nice that helps

Hi everyone.
Good news about the baby,the scan showed she is 6weeks 3days pregnant,and it's NOT ectopic. The woman who did the scan was fuming,she said the doctor did not know what he was talking about, and that the pains she has been having are caused by wind.
Phew thank god for that. They were both in such a state with worry. My son had been in tears, so not like him. But because they are happy,I am happy for them and will help in any way I can.
Apart from getting up during the night,and doing their housework.
I learnt my lesson the hard way there. LOL
