Good to se all of you on here today.
I was at Sandhurst Military Academy when I met up with Sue. It was an open day/ heritage day they call it now. The day was cool and overcast then sunny. Got there early so went through all the mess rooms with exhibitions and pictures.
Met Sue as planned at the Ghurka Curry Tent. We all had curry for lunch, always a good meal and only £3:50 each !!! We met our other friends too. Went for a walk round and to see a special horse, cars and other displays. Saw a gun run done by the Wellington College boys. Some bands too. Then we did meet at the beer tent, but I had Pimms very nice too. Said goodbye to Sue and said we would keepin touch. She said she checks in every few weeks, but not as often as all of us.
After we went to the other friends for a BBQ which was lovely.

Might wash my duvet ,soak it in the bath, stamp on it , my exercise for the day, just love the smell of a clean duvet rather than Dry cleaning.

pmsl yes sue i have sunflowers growing from last year about 4 as i pull most of them up and just left some at the end of the flower bed
and iv put some bizzy lizzys in this year will take photos when thay are ready

Well I have to admit that my grandaughter does not take after me. Clever girl that she is,she is her own person. With my arthritus,I just just about bend down, let alone run. I was never any good at sport at school either.
When we played hockey,I did manage to dodge out off they way off the hockey stick,but was bl**dy useless at it. At net ball I was always the reserve. The only thing I was any good at,was skipping,and two balls.
She doesn't take after her mum and dad either. My daughter was like me,
hopeless.

Marilyn did you get that duvet stomped. Cor I bet it weighed a ton when you put it on the line to drip dry.
It's not like you can wring them out is it.

Belated birthday wishes to Pauline

Got piccy of horse from Sue, looks a real good un, I'm jealous.

My 2 older nieces were into Athletics, ran for Kent, my sister used to drive them all over the country to competitions, they don't do it any more, busy with work etc, they both went into teaching.

Been having probs with my mum's side of the family, sent of for a birth cert but not sure if it's the right person, different mother named and no father and I'm pulling my hair out with my Wilsons, such a common name and they all called William!!!!!
