And Shelly, I was nearly pissyknickers reading about your old man's wobbly belly - I think this thread could become a great comedy script!

Counselling went ok and it was a lovely afternoon so I stayed out in the sun for a while, drove out of the city and enjoyed the countryside for half an hour.

O.h. got a card from his son in NY, a funny one but with lots of messages in about how much he misses his dad, how incredible, funny, wonderful etc he is, don't you just know he wants dad to pay the fare home for the wedding!
Of course the son is flavour of the month now..... wait till the next time there are words and the son doesn't get in touch for months on end! He's a real sulker if he doesn't get his way,still no job so will need spending money if he comes over -bank of Mum and Dad yet again and will never pay it back, and there's him a 26 yr old married man with two stepdaughters!

Wondering if the county courts will have his name on a file so it shows up when he returns to the country? He still owes people money from a few years back, the parents of another girl he spun yarns to, and conned a car and deposit on a house from, and then wouldn't pay the mortgage! O.h. had to pay the £600 council tax bill so the house could be sold and the girls family got some of the deposit back. He still owes for the car they loaned him the money for, he sold the car and got a van and then sold that.

Off to see the diabetic nurse this morning. Don't think I've lost any weight, but stayed the same. No events coming up, so need to get back to trying harder.

Having said that going to friends for dinner tonight. She is a bit down at the moment, having just lost her brother suddenly at the age of 57yrs. Had to have a PM and found he'd suffered a brain aneurism. Nobody could have done anything. Very sad.

Well managed some ironing before walking to our Drs.
The nurse was OK with me. After all we've had too much celebrating recently and then told me I had lost a pound. I wa pleased and surprised.

Walked out for about an hour altogether, carried on to the chemists for stuff owed on prescription. And then across our golf course.

Since then have sat in the garden reading, finished a book started in Yorkshire.

Just watching the news as it is rather hot outside, not complaining.

I think I caught news of the budget that VAT is going up to 20% - that will put the kybosh on shopping for a lot of people, it's ridiculous. Bankers' bonuses aren't being taxed more tho, typical Cameron, look after the rich as always. Also news on dla rules I think, so more hassle for lots of people.

Well then Marilyn,it looks like some off my predictions about the evictions,were right. Like you and Shelly,I did not really like Corrine at first,
but she is so naive and sweet in the things she comes out with,that you just can't help liking her. She was so good with Jovan last night,when he was breaking his heart on her shoulder.
Why oh why, do people go on this show,without telling their friends and families off their sexual preferences. Jovan is so afraid off how people are going to react to him when he gets out off the house. He's worried about the people in his neighbourhood,off the same culture as himself,not accepting how he is.

Shelly,it not you having the dental treatment is it. I will make a cuppa for us all, but will put a straw in Shelly's just in case she is having dental work done.
