Hi all, getting on the computer late these days so not much time to write anything, been catching up on lots of tv progs I recorded, so he doesn't delete them. His son rang last evening I told him not to watch the channel 4 prog about 1 yr married lol
Got o.h. a white shirt from bhs( a tenner) but size 16and a half and he can just about do the button up, it looks better on him as it's not quite as see through as the Primark one, and let's face it, he can afford a tenner so I have to take the Primark one back later on. This one will not be so tight when he has the tie on (Shame lol)

Marilyn, yes I will be a bit more relaxed after the end of August, but also have to arrange a holiday for us, during Sept so let me know what dates you will be here so I can try and work round them, don't want to go away straight after the wedding, but the next door neighbours who keep an eye on the house, and we do their garden when they go away, are off for the last two weeks of Sept so might have to go later, if I can persuade him to renew his passport so we can go abroad and get some sun. Otherwise, no pleasure going away here, have you noticed how the days are getting shorter, not so long back it was bright and sunny at this time of day, but at the mo it's still quite dark outside. Summer has flown past with all this hassle about the blasted wedding going on.

Hope Rita is feeling better and congrats to Shelly for the nvq thingy,

Congratulations Shelly on your NVQ 3. It really is a lot of work. But you must feel so proud to have achieved it.

Up later today no Little M. Hospital this afternoon lets see what they have to say about my gland problems both thyroid and diabetes.

Daughter coming to dinner tonight so have to go shopping today too. Think I am doing a fish dish with Monkfish and dpudding will be figs and ricotta cheese. Good stuff this weightwatchers menus !!!

Linda ....yes I did find that B&B recipe , but I'm going to do it for my best friend next month as she loves all Delia's meals I went to see what puddings I had in the freezer and found so much that I have to use them up first......so call me lazy if you like !! LOL
I'm going to do a Herby Cod casserole, with any other fish that I have including King prawns etc...


Got Grand daughter today & her friend as she slept at Granddaughters last night, the friends parents ate heart Consultants at our Local Hospital they have been called in so I have offered to look after her as well !!
Well you gotta keep in with them ...LOL

Thats why I'm up early had me bath all ready for the storm !! .

Hope Shelly has a great day ,she'll come with a headache , you'll see.

Yes I am up and dressed in my clothes not my nightieI managed to wash my hair this morning it was so Greasy.
I strip the bed and changed the sheets. then I had to lay down for a rest.
but I did manage to eat a sandwich at lunchtime and had some tinned rice pudding. so I feel better that I have eaten and kept it down.

we had rain yesterday afternoon a thunder storm it did the gardens good. I thought we would have another lot this afternoon but it passed over.
I have read you remarks. on the thread.

I have so much to do I look around and think I should do that but dont feel up to it yet perhaps by the weekend I will feel better.

Marilyn do you have a day to yourself tomorrow? You did well to survive today with two young ladies.

Hospital ......... Actually saw the consultant !!! I am on a high dose of thyroxine already, which she would prefer to decrease but as I have the issues with losing weight she will leave it as it is for now. Hair loss can be due to too much thyroxine as well as too little. She took on board my aching joints, the sarcoidosis, diabetes and thyroid. Straight of for another blood test. This time for Vitamin D levels and one called ANA for possible lupus. Not sure when the results will be.
She said I do need to watch what I eat and recommended that I do resistance bearing exercises. So I will see how I can find out about that myself.
Watch this space.

Last adding and first adding too.
Why when hubby is on earlies can I not sleep in? And when he is on lates why do I need to stay up until he is home? Who is doing the shift work? Me or him? Sorry moan over, but it does have a knock on to me too though he can sleep through the evening when he gets in today I just feel crap and don't sleep well knowing he will be up at 5:00 tomorrow.

Looks like a nice morning. I will have a walk out later to post some birthday cards. Then a friend is coming for tea and a chat, haven't seen her for about 3 weeks as she has been away then hubby was off and too many appointments.

Morning ladies, weekend again, isn't time passing quickly, a card shop in Stockport have Christmas cards on sale, oh dear, that time of year again. I have normally started my Christmas shopping by now, but haven't even given it a thought so far.

I woke with a headache this morning it must have been the whisky Marilyn put in that Horlicks.. I dont seem to be able to forcus right either. Jean before I went on holiday four weeks ago a shop in Woking were selling Christmas cards half price printed for the McMillian Nurses. I brought two packets someone is going to get sale Christmas cards this year, lol

When I was in Weymouth I went to the old section to visit the Lifeboat station. I brought a leather diary for next year 2011 .I always try to support the Life Boats.Stations .
I have ALWAYS BEEN INTERESTED IN THE lIFEBOATS reason being that I use to watch then going out to rescure. . ours belong to NFLB but when they cut down they took ours in Caister off their list so they went private and relied on peoples support.we use to raise money anyway we could. many of the old people who had lived in Caister or been rescured left money in their wills for them.
Jim Davidson The Comedium was and still is a supporter brought them an inshore rubber boat. is always in use.or was when I was living there 7 years ago,

Its Raining !!...... Grrrrrrrrrr

Now its not a lot one can do when its raining other than lappy !!

But I need to do some ironing ,but cant bring myself to do it, I could tidy up a bit
but I don't want to ...........So I'll have to get this dinner party food ready that I have tomorrow, but that can wait ......So all in all I'm fed up now ..LOL

I'm still fed up !!....its still raining !!

Marilyn you must not be fed up. just because it is raining people want rain it brings the flowers on and veg. next week it will be sunny and warm you will beable to sit in the garden with your Gin and Tonic and enjoy.

I am not able to do any housework at the moment I feel weak. I do what I can then sit down and rest. I must have d rank 6 glasses of water this morning so far. I walked and looked at the bedrooms and bathroom and kitchen planning what I needed to do but walked back top the frontroom again.
we are dure rain here this afternoon it is very overcast and not at all warm.
so cheer up it could be worse.

I have cleaned out most of my cupboards this morning ......had to do something . LOL
managed to chuck away loads of rubbish that has been put aside until I felt like it !
But I feel that I have done something, positive, I'm now having a cuppa, might tackle the spare room and start throwing out unwanted bits !!

Rain can make you do all sorts of things that you need to do.
Anyway .... looks like the SUN may come out this afternoon,

I was out most of yesterday and then had company.
Today I've been stuck up my tree on Ancestry because someone wanted info from me, had to search through loads of stuff. I've got everything ready to send him now, hope he sends me something back.

Mo, thanks for the photos, they're great - you look younger than I imagined and you're very fair. NO, I didn't think you were an old hag........I just think you look young.

Who do we need photos of now? Come on everybody, rake those photos out....Yvonne, Liz, Rita, Jean........

Shelly are you still looking for that photo of yourself? I've got it if you want it.
