yes Stephen I thought I would have to make my own breakfast this morning.
I didnt go to bed till 1 0clock I had some phone calls from abroad.
Morning Linda and a happy Christmas to you and yours.
It is strange being on my own. , it would not be so bad if the Tv or Radio had some good programmes on but they have so many repeats you could have a heartattck. I hope the producers dont get a bonus for their selection.
anyway hope you all enjoy your Chrstmas Day.
Love to all.

Morning all, a Merry Christmas to you.
Well it's a dry bright day,but bitterly cold. No snow thank goodness, mind you the last lot has not completely gone yet.

The dining table is set for the six of us,and I must say it looks a picture.
The wine is chilling in the fridge, the non- alchoholic for myself and mummy to be, the rest is for the wine tipplers amongst us.

The rest of the family will be descending on us,at about 5.00p.m yippeee
I love to see the youngsters open their presents.

I will say bye for now everyone, enjoy your day, speak to you as soon as possible. Love to all. Mo xxx

Dermot Report 25 Dec 2010 11:06

Last Christmas day, I put the turkey in the oven before I spent a few leisurely hours at the local hostelry - that’s a posh word for a place better known by us commoners as a ‘pub’.

On returning, I opened the oven door to see how himself was progressing. There he stood on the roasting tray with his wings folded in anger. “Dermot” he said because that's my name - “either light the gas or give me my feathers back - it’s freezing in here”.

I’m off out now. Luckily, someone else is cooking this year!

Well Good Morning Everyone
Hope you all enjoyed Christmas Day.
Hope you see your son today Rita and that the horses are well Jean

Everyone enjoy Boxing Day
I have 9 here today and hubby home all day!!! Hope he helps out a bit. Don't really feel like all the food that needs sorting.
He picked me up at 9:00pm last night so not too long a day for him. Stayed and chatted to the family for a while, but then home and a drink and asleep in the chair so I left him and FIL to see themselves to bed. A few hours after me!!

I'll try to get back later

Did you all see we have talked non stop for TWO YEARS tomorrow .................. we should have a party !!!!

Love LInda :o) XxX
