Thank you all so much for your kindness.I have spoken to Mike, he is taking it well. wether it is for my benifit I dont know.?He said he is in Gods hands now. they are going to do the operation this month he will hear in a few days time.. he said Mum whatever happend happens dont get upsetting yourself. he said he has a good chance as his other kidney is good.. His daughters wedding has been arranged for 10th September in Dorset. every thing has been brought and booked and paid for.we have booked our hotels as well.

I think it came as a shock as he has been having test and they told him he didnt have cancer but the other doctor insisted they do an MRI when they found this tumour 18cm.
I didnt cry when my youngest son told me, it was not a pleasant job for John. but I have cried buckets since. I am gradually accepting it but it is so hard when it is your children..

Thank you all once again.
God bless.

Marilyn,
Are you flying from Exeter? I'll be the one with the red hat. I'll carry the suitcases for you!
My boss would probably blow a gasket if I wasn't at work.

Tea or Coffee

Porridge or Cereals, Eggs, Bacon, Sausage, Tomatoes, Mushrooms, Hash Browns,Black Pudding, etc. Toast or Morning Rolls.

All on the hotplate.........help yourselves.

Morning all.

Slowly life returns to normality. A few folk to see yet to welcome in the New Year and then wind down a bit.

Marilyn............have a good break.

Rita,.......Keep in touch and try and remain positive....hard as that might be.
It dosen't matter what age they are......they are always our 'children'. And if they are hurting then so do we.

Patricia....I have never understood 'Bank Holidays' they seem to be a Law unto themselves. Lots of businesses in Scotland are closed until Monday 10th January. I will be back in my Office on Thursday.

Have a good day ya all.

Catch you later.

To brighten up your day No.1

An elderly gent in his mid 70s visited a classy cocktail bar.

His gaze fell on a lovely vision of beauty 30 years his junior.

Trying to remember his best chat up line....he approached her and said,

'Tell me, do I come here often ? '

To brighten up your day No.2

An elderly gent said to his friend.....

'I wish I knew WHERE I was going to die'

'Why would you want to know that?' asked the friend.

'So that i could avoid ever going there' was his reply.

To brighten up your day No.3

Shortly before he died a man instructed his wife,

' Put all my money in my coffin so that I can spend it in the next life'

She agreed.

When he died she asked the undertaker to open the coffin and in it she placed a large brown envelope.

'Surely you're not going along with the old misers request' says a friend.

'I'm a woman of my word' said she.

' I put all his money in my account, wrote him a cheque, and if he can cash it, he can spend it'

To brighten up your day No. 4

An elderly couple, Marilyn and Pete, were sitting on the beach,

Marilyn turned to Pete and said ' What do you think of my Flip Flops?'

' Act your age', replied Pete, ' and put your Bikini Top back on'
