Just had a phone call from Fiona. She is unable to use the computer today as things have packed up.She will be back when the chap comes to fix things.
She said that this monitor she had put in yesterday is painful, and she can just about sip milk.It should pass through naturally in 48 hours. She has to keep a record of every burp, feeling sick etc and will get results at the end of October.

Hello everyone just a quick hello as I am going to put myself on the couch.

Jane tests all done now, I see specialist on 10/10, but more blood results have reached my doctor after the hospital visit and he rang tonight - looks like they were filed away and not reported on. Not sure where all this is going. Talk of a surgeon being involved now and I'm to bypass the hospitals up here and go straight to Sydney if I have the severe pain.

Frank I hope you find those photos. I have lots missing and I can remember them, but my mother must have thrown them out.

Ann glad you are staying with the jewellery class - I did like what you had made.

Fiona hope you have recovered from your hospital trip.

Boy you are having a last blast of summer - sounds very hot over there. Keep cool.

Today was pleasant and I managed to get the washing done. Daughter is away so I managed to grab her sheets while I could, plus all the socks and underwear that I found under her bed.

I love these new profile photos, keep them coming. I did get Shirl's email and replied, but I haven't heard from her today. Hope Sheila is well, it has been a while since she was on here.

Bye for now. 10.20 pm EST

Hi Everyone,

Kim I'm glad you don't have long to wait for your appointment. Sounds as if they are getting somewhere and it looks as if you will be dealt with quickly if you get the severe pain again. It must be awful for you at the moment just hanging on.

Poor Fiona too, hope her monitor soon moves to where it will be more comfortable. It sound like she will need to rest for a while too. Thanks for letting us know Jane.

Well, instead of being out taking pics I am stuck at home!! :-S We did a scrunched bead bracelet in class this morning which was fiddly but good, 7 of us on the course. I whizzed home after as OH wanted to set straight off for Stathern. I got home and his car wasn't there which was odd. Inside the front door was a note with profuse apologies!!!! lol He had forgotten he was doing a custody visit at 1 o'clock........messed the afternoon up good and proper, hasn't he as he will be back too late to go! He wanted to take me to the class and drop me off and collect me as well so we could be away quickly.......lucky I didn't take him up on the offer or I would have been stranded there as there is no bus!!! I better air the doghouse for when he gets home!! lol ;-)

Well it's final, I have THROWN OUT the old photo's.When we got back from shopping, I decided to sort everything out on my computer table and storeage racks. No sign of them. I have now resigned myself, that they are gone for good. What a terrible shame 70 years of my life in photo's gone for ever.I know I had the only photo's so no good asking the rest of the family. We heven't spoken for over two years :-) :-)

Going in the garden for an hour, Ros wants a bit of help with small plants in the boarder. Hope I don't fall ars# over head. into the flower bed :-D :-D :-D

Ann, any photo's of your latest piece of Bling lol i wish we had classes like that here .
That's twice this week you've planned a trip and you haven't been able to go Ann ,your not having much luck ,third time lucky perhaps !!

Would have liked to have gone to the coast this evening but hubby has an appointment to see someone about work so that's out the window ,it would have been lovely by the sea ,will be to late when he gets home as it dark by seven thirty now .

Wonder how Mel's tree felling is going ?

Poor Fiona, she sounds as if she's going through it the moment ,lets hope this monitor does some good and shows up whats going on inside her .

Cold drink time i think .

Trees all down and oh has gone to Rosemore to help with trees the man is raking down there that will fall across the road. OH is going to be on the road with a stop, go sign and Peter is going to pay him.

Have taken some photos and don't know if I like it now the trees are gone. It does let much more sunlight into the front of the bungalow though and our bedroom. I may have to shut the curtains in the bedroom sometimes now as we don't have nets and if people are walking the bak field they can see straight in.

Jane Report 30 Sep 2011 17:52

I bet you will soon get used the trees not being there Mel.It always seems strange when you look out and what you expect to see is 'gone' lol

Ann,you haven't had a good week have you 'trip' wise :-S Naughty G ruining your afternoon out.Is he in that Dog house yet???No supper either :-| :-|

Oh dear Frank.I don't know what to say about your pics.I know how I would feel if it was me.But you never know they may turn up when you least expect it.

Mandy,I am almost too hot to type this and even think.Hotter tomorrow by a smidgen I think. Not sure whether to laugh or cry lol
I bought some sausages and was looking for Burgers at Tes**.The y discontinued their summer packs last week. Not a burger in sight. :-S

Kim I hope you don't suddenly get whipped away to Sydney and you don't get that dreadful pain again.

I think I better get the Spag Bol on the go.

As I sit here cooling off after sweeping all the dead chuggypigs out of the garden loo(well it is indoors )but mainly used when people traipse in and out with wet /muddy feet,I got to thinking about when I was young and Janice just a toddler .On a day like this Mum would knock up a quick picnic and we would all go down to Plymbridge Wood where the River Plym ran through. There was one little bit that was like a mini beach and a deepish pool that I would swim in.It was lovely and I have such wonderful memories of that place.I doubt I would ever find it again though.

I know when they cut down the big tree at the end of the old peoples complex next door to us ,our garden got so much more sun ,but it was strange to see the churchyard and people walking through , another good thing was we didn't get all the leaves from the tree in the garden .

I bet the Barbeque's will be out again this weekend !!
It does seem strange that its hot but the evening is dark !!

Last night i was so tired after having the family here all day that i slept like a log until 5-30 ,never even got out for a wee ,most unusual for me, some nights i get out twice !!!

David Report 30 Sep 2011 19:48

Pat,one of the saddest things I saw was a few years ago.
It was in Northumberland Street Newcastle at the Haymarket end.

A big strong man, must have been 6" 3" and broad was standing with cap in hand singing.

He wasn't drunk,he was begging.
Tears were running down his face as he sang. :-( :-(

Jane

Jane Report 30 Sep 2011 20:01

David I used to give a lot to people begging in the street .I even gave this one particular man my dog's coat and blanket ( as he had a dog and it was winter),plus buying him food.I then discovered he had a car and somewhere to live !!!!!!!.Now I am not so sure about giving so easily.(on the streets).

Mandy I slept like a log too last night but had some very strange dream that involved the 2 chaps that were in 'Men behaving Badly' lol.I wont divulge what the dream was about ;-) ;-)
Dinner is just about ready now .I have got Chris grating the Parmesan as my grip is to weak for the grater :-|

Thinking of Liz today.I hope they managed to move without any trouble.
Where is Sheila???????,and William?????.Anne must be due back very soon.

When OH got home looking sheepish, before I could say anything, he grinned and said 'WHATEVER YOU SAY, I AGREE' lol. Wise man!! lol, lol :-D :-D Anyway he is keen to come with me and drive me to Stathern in the morning so we are going early and he says he won't rush me as long as we are back in time for him to go to Matlock!!

I liked your misty pic Jane.......it must have been a nice walk before it got too hot this morning. It registered 32 degrees in the car this afternoon and was still 27 degrees after 6pm!! Supposed to be hotter tomorrow as well.

When we moved here nextdoor had a huge Willow tree that hung 25 feet across our garden. Luckily within 12 months they had it cut back but the wind still blew all the leaves off the rest onto our gravel and it was a daily job picking them up in the autumn. The first thing the new neighbour did was chop the whole thing down. Like us he was concerned about it's roots and how close to the bungalows they might be.

I just hope you have put your photos somewhere else Frank. It will be such a shame if you have lost them.

Oh Ann, he's putty in your hand LOL

Did anyone see the Alan Titmarsh programe Love your garden that's just been on ? the garden was small and had 170 pots and planters !!!!
All plumbed up to be watered three times a day ,did look pretty though.

Must go and have a shower ,i want to watch Strictly come dancing at nine .

Hope i sleep as well tonight ,it does seem a lot warmer so might be a restless one tonight .

Jane

Jane Report 30 Sep 2011 21:33

Mandy there is a garden down in the village I would love to get a pic of .it is small ,but lots of pots of Geraniums,Fuchsias .The chap who lives there is a funny old Bu***r,and I haven't got the nerve to ask him if I can take a photo. It is so colourful but just an easy garden.I might see if I can get a sneaky pic lol
I didn't see Alan Titchmarsh tonight.
Chris's turn to walk Chester in the morning. My floors are disgusting so I think while he is out I will be having a hoover and floor washing session :-S

I gave Chester a good soaking with the hose earlier, and he now looks all fluffed up .He had a squirt of doggy deodorant after a rub down so smells quite ok now.Not that wet dog smell :-S :-S

Will say night night now and watch the rest of Strictly CD xx

Morning All,

Another scorcher today I think.

OH has to cut up the fallen trees today. He did have a bit of a bonfire last night with what he had already piled up.

It is just a thought Frank :-( did you take the photos to Conrad's at the weekend?? I have asked the Borrowers if you could have them back please?

Did'nt like it when I awoke this morning to a plain blue window. Told oh and he said he would put them back today!! I must admit that they did block all the gutters up on the bungalow with their leaves and we always had loads of leaves around the front of the house in the autumn. The wind comes mostly from the west here and they were on the west side. The new garage now stands out and it all looks very bare out there.

He was talking about making me a small veg patch out there at the back and moving the chickens a little further up the field but not too far for me to walk to when it's wet and rainy. I said he will have to put a strong fence all round it to keep the rabbits out.

I watched Strickly last night. Thought Anita Dobson was good.

I don't think I liked Tizer or many fizzy drinks when I was little.I maybe had fizzy orange now and again. The worst fizzy pop I thought was Cream Soda :-P

Afternoon all,

What another lovely day ,hubby's busy rubbing down all the walls on the landing and stair case ,i've closed all the doors upstairs and down so the dust keeps in one place ,just got the back door open ,he's now beginning to sweat :-S

Mind what your doing Frank , hope Ros is there with you while your doing your Lumbering !!! we don't want you Lumbering down off the ladder :-S

We're off out tonight for a birthday meal for hubby, its his birthday on Tuesday , so its out with sister and BIL tonight and Tuesday a meal with son and DIL and the little ones ,probably Chinese that night .

Still no Sheila or William !!

Hubby wants a drink ,if i can find him in the dust :-S :-S

Glad the coupons were of use to you Jane.
