My only true best friend was from the 1940.s we were at school together but lost touch when i left early in 1952. We made contact again via friends reunited in 2002 and it was if the last fifty years were but a blink. I live in Kent and she is in Wiltshire ,but its amazing how close we were in the years between without knowing. it. We are always talking on the phone now and have stayed with her & her hubby every year since for a week holiday Truly a very best friend Shirley |
